Payment Options

Each appointment at San Diego Sexual Medicine must be paid at time of service. We do not accept any insurance. We accept cash, checks written on a California bank, Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

When your appointment is complete, we will provide you with what is called a superbill. This is a receipt for payment that provides the codes used by your insurance company for your appointment including the diagnosis, office visit and tests procedures. Please use this superbill to request reimbursement from your insurance company.

If you are having additional procedures or therapy at Alvarado Hospital, some of these costs may be paid directly by your insurance company. It is for this reason that we may ask you for your health insurance information.
