HIFEM technology (Emsella)

The Emsella device (BTL) is an FDA cleared non-invasive treatment for women with stress urinary incontinence, urge incontinece or mixed incontinence.  The device is intended to provide entirely non-invasive electromagnetic stimulation of pelvic floor musculature for the purpose of rehabilitation of weak pelvic floor muscles and restoration of neuromuscular control for the treatment of urinary incontinence in women. It delivers 11,200 pelvic floor contractions in a 28 minutes session. Treatment usually involves two sessions a week for three weeks, although an additional treatment or two may be helpful.
